What is it?
The Sherburne Project affordable housing program is located at 12 West State Street in Sherburne, New York. There are a total of five units in the building (4 one-one bedroom units and 1 two-bedroom units), with a one bedroom unit being a mobility accessible unit.
Applications will be received on a "first come, first served" basis. Tenant incomes will be certified at initial occupancy and annually after the initial lease-up. Rents will be set at the established HOME program High and Low rent limits, which are currently $646 for a 1 bedroom (with utilities included) and $781 for a two-bedroom unit (with utilities included).
Who is it for?
Eligible applicants must have a total household income that falls below 80% AMI.
