The goal of our Mobile Food Pantry is to help families and individuals in Broome County with food supplies in their time of need so they can have assistance and live satisfying lives and thrive in our community.

What is it?

The Mobile Food Pantry Program currently offered at Greater Opportunities includes a mass food distribution in coordination with the Food Bank of the Southern Tier. Greater Opportunities collaborates with the Food Bank of the Southern Tier to distribute food to individuals/families in our community. Greater Opportunities staff and volunteers distribute food at designated times throughout the year at various locations throughout Broome County.

Individuals and families needing emergency assistance with food and hygiene supplies in Broome County.

In addition to our emergency services, our team of Family Advocates will help you with various needs in order to reduce your dependency and encourage self-sufficiency. We do this by setting realistic goals that you can meet, so you can gain your independence in a feasible and timely manner.
